SAN FRANCISCO, July 20 (UPI) -- The Milwaukee Brewers Sunday acquired veteran second baseman Ray Durham in a trade with the San Francisco Giants.

The Giants got outfielder Daren Ford and left-hander Steve Hammond, both now with minor league clubs.

The deal was completed in San Francisco, where the Brewers wrapped up a weekend series with a 7-4 win.

Durham, 36, a switch-hitter, is batting .293 this season.
