Verdasco, Andreev Umag finalists

UMAG, Croatia, July 19 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Spaniard Fernando Verdasco and fourth-seeded Russian Igor Andreev meet Sunday in the final of the Croatia Open Umag.

Both won semifinal matches Saturday.

Verdasco posted a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Fabio Fognini, who upset five-time Umag champion Carlos Moya of Spain in the quarterfinals Friday.

Andreev, who was last week's Gstaad runner-up, beat Argentine Maximo Gonzalez 6-2, 7-6 (7-2).
