
ATLANTA, July 19 (UPI) -- Cristian Guzman's two hits and three RBI led the Washington Nationals' easy 8-2 win at Atlanta Saturday.
Washington's lone all-star drove in the three runs with a triple, an infield single and a sacrifice fly.
Willie Harris and Paul Lo Duca both had two RBI. Austin Kearns had two hits and one RBI.
Harris had three hits and a total of four players had two hits for the Nationals, who stopped a three-game losing streak.
Winner John Lannan (6-9) yielded an earned run and seven hits in six innings with three walks and four strikeouts. He has won just twice in his last eight starts.
Atlanta got one RBI apiece from Chipper Jones and Greg Norton, who belted a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth.
Gregor Blanco had three hits and Brian McCann two but the Braves' three-game winning streak ended.
Losing pitcher Jair Jurrjens (9-5) gave up five earned runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings.
