CINCINNATI, July 17 (UPI) -- Carlos Delgado drove in the go-ahead score during a four-run ninth Thursday, rallying the New York Mets to their 10th straight win -- 10-8 over Cincinnati.

New York came back from a 5-2 deficit, coughed up the lead in the seventh and then produced an unlikely win that moved the Mets into a share of the lead with Philadelphia in the National League East.

The Mets have gone 18-9 since Jerry Manuel replaced the dismissed Willie Randolph as manager June 17.

A three-run double by Javier Valentin in the seventh gave Cincinnati an 8-6 lead, but the Mets rallied against Francisco Cordero.

Argenis Reyes singled with one out in the ninth and David Wright followed with a homer to right that tied the game.

Carlos Beltran and Damion Easley singled to keep things going and Delgado put the Mets in front with a base hit. A double by Fernando Tatis scored Easley with the fourth run of the inning.

Billy Wagner, the seventh New York pitcher, came on in the bottom of the ninth for his 23rd save, making a winner out of Duaner Sanchez (4-1).

Cordero (4-2) took the loss.
