MAJORCA, Spain, July 15 (UPI) -- Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has had an asteroid named after him following his recent winning streak on the court.

Officials at the Astronomical Observatory of Majorca, the island from which Nadal hails, said they were renaming the asteroid after Nadal to honor "one of the best tennis players of all time."

The 22-year-old Nadal has won four French Open titles, this year's Wimbledon and a Davis Cup.
