Rain claims Austrian Open first day

KITZBUHEL, Austria, July 14 (UPI) -- All matches at the first day of the clay-court Austrian Open were postponed Monday because of rain.

No. 8-seeded Olivier Rochus was to have played Ivo Minar in one of the three matches set for Monday. All were rescheduled for Tuesday.

Top-seeded Andreas Seppi and Wimbledon semifinalist Rainer Schuettler, the No. 2 seed, are also on Tuesday's card.

The tournament champion will earn $185,000.
