BUDAPEST, Hungary, July 13 (UPI) -- Teenager Alize Cornet of France scored a straight-set victory Sunday to win the Gaz de France Grand Prix in Hungary, her first title on the WTA Tour.

Cornet, 18, battled to a 7-6 (7-5), 6-3) decision over Andreja Klepac of Slovenia.

"I'm so happy to win today," Cornet said. "It's my first victory on the tour so it's very special. I've had great results on clay this season. I was just really happy to be able to compete so well in Budapest this week."

Klepac appeared in her first WTA Tour final.
