SYLVANIA, Ohio, July 13 (UPI) -- Paula Creamer slipped to a 2-over-par 73 Sunday, but managed to complete a wire-to-wire win at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic in Ohio.
Creamer's victory was her third this season and her seventh on the LPGA Tour.
The 21-year-old star from Windermere, Fla., ended up at 16-under 268 in a tournament she opened with an 11-under 60, the second-lowest score in the tour's history.
Nicole Castrale took second place at 14-under 270 after firing a 64 in the final round. Eun-Hi Ji (72) was third at 13-under 271.
"I managed to get it done," Creamer said. "I hit a lot of good shots today. I can't be disappointed. If somebody was to go out and play a lot better than me, then so be it. I'm glad that I won."
The winner's check was $195,000.
