MLS: Real Salt Lake 2, Columbus 0

SALT LAKE CITY, July 12 (UPI) -- Real Salt Lake remained unbeaten at home Saturday with a 2-0 Major League Soccer victory over the Columbus Crew.

Salt Lake took over the lead in Major League Soccer's Western Conference, one point ahead of Chivas USA and the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Javier Morales scored in the fourth minute with a free kick through the Columbus wall and Robbie Findley added the other goal in the 78th minute.
