MLS: Chicago 2, Toronto FC 1

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., July 12 (UPI) -- John Thorrington scored near the end of stoppage time Saturday, giving the Chicago Fire a 2-1 Major League Soccer victory over Toronto FC.

Thorrington took a pass and pushed the ball between Toronto goalkeeper Greg Sutton's legs in the 92nd minute.

Fire forward Chris Rolfe scored the first goal of the match early in the first half and Toronto rookie Abdus Ibrahim tied the score in the second half.

Chicago is 7-5-3. Toronto is 6-6-3.
