Arbitrators rule against Orioles pitcher Bergesen

BOSTON, July 12 (UPI) -- Kevin Youkilis had a grand slam homer and six RBI Saturday to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 12-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.
Tim Wakefield (6-6), working seven innings, gave up one run on two hits and a walk while striking out six for Boston, which won for the fourth time in its last five games. Wakefield retired the last 13 batters he faced.
Manny Ramirez, who scored three runs, and J.D. Drew each were 2-for-3 with a home run.
Baltimore's Radhames Liz (3-2) allowed eight runs on six hits and three walks in 2 1/3 innings.
Ramon Hernandez homered and Kevin Millar and Nick Markakis singled to provide the only other hits for Baltimore, which has lost six of its last seven games.
