KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 10 (UPI) -- Goals by Jimmy Conrad and Davy Arnaud Thursday gave Kansas City just its second victory in 10 games -- 2-1 over New York.

Kansas City moved out of the Eastern Conference cellar into a tie with New York at 20 points each.

Conrad, who was named to his fifth consecutive MLS All-Star Game earlier in the day, headed home a Claudio Lopez corner kick in the 11th minute. It was Conrad's fourth goal of the season.

Arnaud took a feed from Kurt Morsink in the 47th minute and shoved the ball past goalkeeper Jon Conway.
