NEW YORK, July 10 (UPI) -- Fernando Tatis' two-run homer broke a tie and helped the New York Mets top San Francisco 7-3, Thursday, stretching their win streak to six games.

Tatis' home run to left-center in the seventh inning put the Mets ahead 5-3. They added two more runs in the inning.

Tatis finished with four RBI and David Wright hit two doubles, walked twice and scored two runs for New York.

Randy Wynne hit a two-run double for the Giants, who have dropped four straight games.

Scott Schoeneweis (1-2) got the win, pitching a scoreless seventh inning.

The loss was charged to San Francisco reliever Sergio Romo (0-1), who gave up three runs in 1 2/3 innings.
