OAKLAND, Calif., July 10 (UPI) -- Emil Brown hit the last of three late Oakland solo homers Thursday, an 11th inning blast that gave the Athletics a 3-2 win over Seattle.
Brown teed off on a pitch from Cesar Jimenez to end the contest.
The A's Jack Cust and Kurt Suzuki had hit solo homers off Seattle reliever Brandon Morrow in the ninth inning erasing a 2-0 deficit.
Jose Lopez doubled in one Seattle run and Jose Vidro sent home the other with a single.
Huston Street (2-2) was the winning pitcher in relief.
Losing pitcher Jimenez is 0-1.
