SAN DIEGO, July 9 (UPI) -- Florida Marlins' left-hander Scott Olsen held San Diego to four hits and a run in eight innings Wednesday en route to a 5-2 win over the Padres.

Mike Jacobs cracked a two-run homer to help Olsen (5-4) get his first win in more than two months.

The 6-foot-5 Olson was replaced in the ninth inning by Joe Nelson, who gave up a run before Kevin Gregg came on to notch his 17th save.

Hanley Ramirez added a solo homer for the Marlins.

Scott Hairston homered for San Diego and Chase Headley drove in the Padres' other run with a single.

Cha Seung Baek (2-5) was the losing pitcher, yielding three runs and six hits in five innings.
