BOSTON, July 8 (UPI) -- Brandon Moss drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning and had two RBI Tuesday, sparking Boston's 6-5 victory over Minnesota.

Manny Ramirez hit a two-run homer for the Red Sox, who have won four of their last six games and moved to three games back of first-place Tampa in the AL East.

David Aardsma (3-2) earned the win by pitching two-thirds of an inning of scoreless relief. Jonathan Papelbon worked out of a jam in the ninth to record his 27th save. Starter Jon Lester went 7 1/3 innings and yielded nine hits and five runs.

Brendan Harris had two RBI and two runs scored for the Twins. Matt Guerrier (4-4) was charged with the loss, after allowing four hits and three runs in one inning. Twins starter Nick Blackburn gave up six hits and two runs over 6 2/3 innings.
