Anderson and Erick Aybar had two hits in the Angels' second win in the three-game holiday weekend series.

Garland (8-5) did not walk a batter, struck out three and faced only 32 batters. His shutout bid was spoiled when Rod Barajas belted a solo homer in the fifth, but Garland still improved his lifetime record against Toronto to 11-2.
