Tommie Harris' wife dies

ANAHEIM, Calif., July 6 (UPI) -- Alex Rios had three hits and two RBI and Vernon Wells had a two-run homer Saturday night to lead the Toronto Blue Jays past the LA Angels of Anaheim 7-5.
Toronto starter Roy Halladay (10-6) earned his seventh victory in his last eight decisions, allowing two runs on six hits with seven strikeouts and one walk in seven innings.
Adam Lind drove in a run for the Blue Jays, who snapped a three-game losing streak.
Vladimir Guerrero hit a two-run home run and had three RBI for the Angels, who have won four of their last six.
John Lackey (6-2) took the loss, giving up six runs on seven hits over six innings.
