MLB: Colorado 12, Florida 6

DENVER, July 6 (UPI) -- Matt Holliday's three-run homer was part of a six-run fourth inning Saturday when the Colorado Rockies beat Florida 12-6.

The reigning National League MVP finished with two hits and four RBI in all. Brad Hawpe hit a three-run homer in the sixth and scored twice.

Chris Iannetta hit a two-run shot in the fourth while Ryan Spilborghs added two hits for the Rockies, who won Friday's series opener, 17-16, and have a five-game winning streak.

The winner was starter Jorge De La Rosa (3-4).

Florida's Cody Ross had three hits, one a three-run seventh-inning homer, and four RBI.

Robert Andino and Matt Treanor knocked in one run each, with Treanor and Mike Jacobs getting two hits apiece for the Marlins, losers of three straight.

Losing pitcher Ryan Tucker (2-3) gave up eight earned runs and seven hits in four innings.
