Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

FRISCO, Texas, July 4 (UPI) -- A goal in stoppage time by Abe Thompson Friday allowed FC Dallas to salvage a 1-1 tie with Kansas City.
With temperatures nearing 100 degrees, Dallas gave Coach Schellas Hyndman his second draw in three games on the bench.
Kansas City (4-6-4) scored in the 39th minute, with Scott Sealy producing his second tally of the season.
As time was running out, Thompson scored off a feed from Eric Avila.
Dallas is 4-6-6 for the year.
