
BALTIMORE, July 4 (UPI) -- Freddie Bynum knocked in three runs Friday to help the Baltimore Orioles beat Texas 10-4.
The shortstop capped a four-run third inning outburst with a two-run single and added a fielder's-choice RBI groundout in the bottom of the eighth.
Adam Jones and Brandon Fahey both had two hits and two RBI. Three others knocked in one run, while a total of four players had two hits in a 12-hit attack for the Orioles, who have won three of their last four games.
Winner Jeremy Guthrie (5-7) gave up four earned runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings with two walks and six strikeouts.
Milton Bradley had two hits and three RBI for Texas. Ian Kinsler had two hits and one RBI, while Jarrod Saltalamacchia also had two hits in the Rangers' second straight loss after their three-game winning streak.
The losing pitcher was starter Vicente Padilla (10-5).
