SAN FRANCISCO, July 1 (UPI) -- A grand slam and a two-run shot by Mark DeRosa helped the Chicago Cubs blow past the San Francisco Giants 9-2 Monday.

The Cubs also got two RBI from Matt Murton and one from Kosuke Fukudome as they got the win after four straight losses.

The win went to Ted Lilly (9-5), who went eight-plus innings, allowing just two runs on seven hits. He struck out five.

The Giants, who lost for the first time in three games, got their runs on Rich Aurilia RBIs.

Barry Zito (3-12) took the loss after allowing five runs -- four earned -- on six hits and five walks in five innings.
