KANSAS CITY, Kan., June 29 (UPI) -- Real Salt Lake defender Tony Beltran tipped Kansas City's Davy Arnaud's free kick into the net Saturday night, giving the Wizards a 1-0 win over RSL.

The victory put an end to Kansas City's seven-game winless streak, while Real Salt Lake (5-6-4) lost for the first time in six games.

The Wizards and RSL were scoreless after 89 minutes when Kansas City was awarded a direct free-kick from 30 yards out.

Arnaud's kick went into a crowd, apparently intended for Jimmy Conrad to turn it into a shot on goal, but Beltran got to the ball first -- and it went off Beltran into his own net.

The Wizards (4-5-4) remain at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
