WASHINGTON, June 28 (UPI) -- Garrett Olson gave up an earned run and six hits in five innings Saturday to help the Baltimore Orioles trounce Washington 9-1.

Baltimore's Ramon Hernandez hit a two-run homer in the fifth and Luke Scott launched a solo shot in the fourth. Four others had one RBI apiece and one run scored on a third-inning throwing error by starting and losing pitcher John Lannan (4-9).

Washington's run scored on a single by Lastings Milledge in the bottom of the first. He suffered a groin injury later in the game and has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.
