Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
RICHMOND, Va., June 28 (UPI) -- Tony Kanaan was in control during the last 94 laps Saturday night and came out on top in the SunTrust Indy Challenge at the Richmond International Raceway.
Kanaan finished 4.7691 seconds ahead of second-place Helio Castroneves.
The victory was Kanaan's first of the season and 13th of his IndyCar career.
Scott Dixon, Dan Wheldon and Oriol Servia completed the top-five in the IRL race.
