OAKLAND, Calif., June 26 (UPI) -- Kyle Kendrick and J.C. Romero combined on a four-hitter Wednesday, bringing Philadelphia a 4-0 win over Oakland.

The Phillies halted a season-worst, six-game losing streak.

Kendrick (7-3) gave up all four hits and walked one over eight innings, bouncing back from a loss to Boston last week to win for the sixth time in seven decisions. Romero walked a batter in the ninth in a non-save situation.

Pat Burrell delivered Philadelphia's first run with a sacrifice fly in the opening inning. Pedro Feliz tripled in Burrell in the fourth and then scored on Chris Coste's sacrifice fly.

Coste added an RBI single in the sixth.

The loss went to Greg Smith (4-6), who allowed four runs on seven hits in 5 2/3.
