BARRINGTON, R.I., June 24 (UPI) -- Camilo Villegas and Bubba Watson won the CVS Charity Classic Tuesday with a three-hole playoff.

There was a weather delay of almost 3 1/2 hours, so the decision was made to have the playoff with the four teams tied after 10 holes. Watson and Villegas finished the three-hole playoff at 3-under par.

Paul Goydos and Tim Herron were tied for second with U.S. Open runner-up Rocco Mediate and Brandt Snedeker after posting a 1-under score in the playoff.

Davis Love III and Billy Andrade shot even-par in the playoff.

The four teams were tied at 15-under through 28 holes before play was halted by heavy rain.

Villegas and Watson, the first-round leaders, split $300,000 for their win. Watson donated $10,000 of his $150,000 share to back the tournament, which supports other non-profit agencies in New England
