Villegas, Watson have lead at CVS Charity

BARRINGTON, R.I., June 23 (UPI) -- Camilo Villegas and Bubba Watson paired Monday for a 10-under 61 to take a one-shot lead after the first round of the two-day CVS Charity Classic.

U.S. Open runner-up Rocco Mediate played with Brandt Snedeker to make eight birdies, a bogey and an eagle to finish at 9-under 62. They were tied in second place with Tim Herron and Paul Goydos; Davis Love III and Billy Andrade; and Nick Price and Charles Howell III.

Brett Quigley teamed with his uncle, Dana Quigley, to shoot eight-under 63. They are tied for sixth with LPGA Tour players Nicole Castrale and Laura Diaz.

Stewart Cink, who won the Travelers Championship on Sunday, paired with J.J. Henry to shoot 65 to stand eighth. One shot behind are Justin Rose and Nick Faldo.
