CARSON, Calif., June 22 (UPI) -- The Columbus Crew fought to a 3-3 tie with the Los Angeles Galaxy Saturday night, erasing two second-half deficits.
For the Galaxy, goals from Landon Donovan and Edson Buddle had the team up 2-0 inside 47 minutes. But the Crew quickly got two goals from Brad Evans and Guillermo Barros Schelotto within four minutes to tie the score with just under 20 minutes to play.
Another Donovan goal was canceled by rookie Steve Lenhart's first career goal in the last 10 minutes.
