SAN DIEGO, June 22 (UPI) -- Magglio Ordonez, Ivan Rodriquez and Carlos Guillen powered Detroit past the San Diego Padres 5-3 Sunday -- the Tigers' 10th win in 12 games.
Ordonez slammed a two-run home run and a run-scoring double, Rodriquez walloped a solo homer and Guillen knocked in another run with a single.

Adrian Gonzalez drilled a solo-homer and Khalil Greene added an RBI for San Diego, which has lost six of seven.
Right-hander Justin Verlander (4-9) notched his first win on the road this season, striking out 10 batters while allowing two runs and five hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Loser Randy Wolf (5-6) worked six innings, also striking out 10.
