WASHINGTON, June 21 (UPI) -- Ramon Vazquez had three hits and three RBI Saturday to lead the Texas Rangers' 13-3 rout at Washington.
His three-run double capped a seven-run outburst in the top of the seventh inning.
Ian Kinsler hit a game-opening homer, walked three times and scored twice.
David Murphy had two hits and three RBI.
Michael Young and Josh Hamilton had two RBI apiece and like Vazquez, Young had three hits for the Rangers, who banged out 18 hits and have split their last four games.
Winner Kason Gabbard (2-3) allowed three earned runs and six hits in 5 1/3 innings with two walks and five strikeouts.
Washington got a solo homer from Lasings Milledge in the bottom of the fourth, one RBI from Jose Lopez and one run on Elijah Dukes' fifth inning double play ground-out.
Dimitri Young had three hits and Wily Mo Pena had two hits for the Nationals, who have dropped four of five.
The losing pitcher was starter Garrett Mock (0-2).
