Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

EASTBOURNE, England, June 20 (UPI) -- Agnieszka Radwanska earned her third finals berth of the year with a straight-set victory Friday at the $600,000 International women's Open in England.
Radwanska is 3-0 in her career -- and 2-0 in 2008 -- in WTA finals matches. She will face Nadia Petrova in Saturday's title match with $95,500 at stake.
Radwanska, seeded fourth, dispatched eighth-seeded Marion Bartoli 7-5, 6-3 in the semifinals. Radwanska broke Bartoli's serve four times and was helped by seven double faults from Bartoli.
Petrova swept past Samantha Stosur 6-3, 6-3 in advancing to her 16th career final. She owns seven tournament titles.
Radwanska beat Petrova in this year's Australian Open in their only previous WTA meeting.
