
ARLINGTON, Texas, June 19 (UPI) -- Michael Young's RBI single in the bottom of the ninth Thursday lifted the Texas Rangers past the Atlanta Braves 5-4.
Atlanta staged a two-run rally in the top of the ninth, with Omar Infante's one out sacrifice fly knotting the contest 4-4.
Texas DH Brandon Boggs hit a three-run homer in the sixth.
Young also hit a fifth inning sacrifice fly, while Josh Hamilton and Ian Kinsler had two hits apiece for the Rangers, who have won three of their last five games.
The winner was Jamey Wright (4-2), despite his third blown save this season.
Atlanta's Jeff Francoeur and Kelly Johnson also knocked in one run.
Johnson had two of the seven hits for the Braves, who have split their last four games.
The losing pitcher was Blaine Boyer (1-5).
The Braves established a major league record with their 22nd straight one-run road loss.
