ARLINGTON, Texas, June 18 (UPI) -- Omar Infante broke open a tie game and ignited a three-run ninth with an RBI single Wednesday, lifting Atlanta past Texas 5-2.
Chipper Jones added a homer for the Braves and kept his batting average at .400.
Jo-Jo Reyes held the Rangers, the highest scoring team in the majors, to two runs in seven innings. Jeff Bennett (1-4) worked the eighth to get the victory.
Texas closer C.J. Wilson (0-2) came on in a tie game in the ninth and took the loss.
Jeff Francoeur reached second to open the ninth on a throwing error by Wilson and scored the go-ahead run on Infante's one-out single. Infante then came in on Gregor Blanco's triple. After Yunel Escobar walked, Blanco scored on a fielder's choice grounder by Kelly Johnson.
Mike Gonzalez worked the ninth for his first save of the season.
