Marcus Vick accused of drunken driving

NORFOLK, Va., June 16 (UPI) -- Former Miami Dolphins player Marcus Vick has been released on bond following his arrest on drunken driving charges in Norfolk, Va.

Vick, 24, is due to appear in court Sept. 10 after he allegedly fled from a police officer who attempted to check his identification and failed a sobriety test, The (Norfolk) Virginian-Pilot reported Monday.

Police said the former NFL player was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, misdemeanor eluding police, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license.

Investigators said Delicia Lenora Cordon, 24, was also charged with being drunk in public during the incident.
