MLB: St. Louis 7, Philadelphia 6 (10 inn.)

ST. LOUIS, June 15 (UPI) -- Two 10th-inning Philadelphia errors allowed Rick Ankiel to reach base and score the winning run Sunday in a 7-6 St. Louis victory over the Phillies.

Ankiel got to first on a throwing error by Chase Utley, advanced on a single by Troy Glaus and scored on an error by pitcher Tom Gordon as Gordon tried to take a throw while covering first on a grounder by Chris Duncan.

Glaus and Skip Schumaker homered for the Cardinals and Anthony Reyes (2-1) got the win after pitching a perfect 10th inning.

Ryan Howard drove in four runs for the Phillies.

Gordon (5-4) took the loss in relief.
