MILWAUKEE, June 15 (UPI) -- Brian Buscher's two-run single keyed a five-run rally in the top of the 12th inning Saturday when the Minnesota Twins beat Milwaukee 9-4.
Milwaukee's Russell Branyan sent the contest to extra innings with a dramatic solo homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning. Michael Cuddyer added a two-run pinch triple in the 12th inning rally.
Like Buscher, Delmon Young had three hits and three players had two hits for the Twins, who have won two in a row.
They won despite stranding 10 base-runners.
The winner was Brian Bass (3-2). Milwaukee also got Ryan Braun's fifth-inning solo homer. Two others had one RBI, while Joe Dillon and Prince Fielder had two hits apiece for the Brewers, who have split their last four games.
The losing pitcher was Julian Tavarez (0-1).
