ANAHEIM, Calif., June 15 (UPI) -- Casey Kotchman slammed a two-run homer and Joe Saunders notched his 10th win Sunday in a 2-0 Los Angeles Angels victory over Atlanta.
Kotchman's shot, just inside the right-field foul pole in the fifth inning, scored Vladimir Guerrero, who had doubled.
Saunders (10-3) worked 7 1/3 innings, scattering six hits, and Francisco Rodriguez recorded his 28th save.
Yunel Escobar had two hits for Atlanta, which has lost seven of its last nine games.
Jorge Campillo (2-1) went the distance for the Braves, giving up two runs and seven hits.
