Davydenko tops Robredo in Warsaw

WARSAW, Poland, June 15 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Nikolay Davydenko won the Warsaw Open Sunday with a straight-set victory over No. 2 seed Tommy Robredo.

Davydenko, ranked fourth in the world, won 6-3, 6-3 and collected $104,000.

The title was the 14th of the Russian's ATP career and his third on the tour this year.

Davydenko called Robredo "a very demanding opponent."

Robredo, of Spain, is ranked No. 19 in the world.
