WASHINGTON, June 14 (UPI) -- Brazilian Luciano Emilio, the Major League Soccer MVP, scored three goals Saturday to lead D.C. United to a 4-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls.

Emilio scored just one goal in D.C. United's first nine games but Saturday increased his goal scoring streak to four games.

United is unbeaten during that time, going 3

D.C. (5-7-1) is at home June 22 to expansion San Jose, while New York (4-4-3) goes to New England Wednesday.
