
CHICAGO, June 14 (UPI) -- Jorge De La Rosa and three relievers combined to hurl a three-hit shutout Saturday, giving the Colorado Rockies a 2-0 win over the Chicago White Sox.
De La Rosa (2-3) gave up one hit in five scoreless innings with one walk and eight strikeouts.
Relievers Jason Grilli and Taylor Buchholz kept Chicago from scoring in innings 6-8 before Brian Fuentes recorded his 10th save this season, despite allowing a hit in the bottom of the ninth.
Colorado scored its first run on Paul Konerko's seventh-inning fielding error and another run scored on reliever Nick Masset's ninth-inning throwing error, making both Colorado runs unearned.
The Rockies have split their last four games.
A.J. Pierzynski had two of the three hits for the White Sox, who have dropped four of five.
The losing pitcher was Octavio Dotel (3-4).
Chicago starter John Danks gave up five hits in six scoreless innings with a walk and six strikeouts.
