MLB: Milwaukee 9, Houston 6

HOUSTON, June 12 (UPI) -- Corey Hart's three-run homer capped a five-run second inning Thursday and keyed the Milwaukee Brewers' 9-6 victory at Houston.

Hart's blast was his 10th this season and his only hit of the contest.

Milwaukee's Prince Fielder, Mike Cameron and Gabe Kapler all hit solo homers and three players had two hits for the Brewers, who snapped a six-game road losing streak.

Winner Ben Sheets (7-1) yielded three earned runs and seven hits in seven innings with two walks and nine strikeouts.

Houston's Mark Loretta hit a two-run homer in the eighth while both Miguel Tejada and Darin Erstad hit solo homers.

Lance Berkman and Michael Bourn had one RBI each.

Erstad had three hits and three players had two hits for the Astros, who have dropped four of five.

Losing pitcher Brian Moehler (3-3) allowed seven earned runs and seven hits in 4 2/3 innings.
