TORONTO, June 11 (UPI) -- Raul Ibanez' RBI single in the top of the ninth Wednesday gave the Seattle Mariners a 2-1 victory over Toronto.

His second hit broke a 1-1 tie with two outs after right-fielder Ichiro Suzuki stole both second and third bases.

Yuniesky Betancourt's seventh RBI triple ended a shutout bid by Toronto's Shawn Marcum, who gave up the earned run and seven hits in seven innings with two walks and nine strikeouts.

Also in the ninth, losing pitcher B.J. Ryan (1-2) and Toronto Manager John Gibbons were ejected for arguing balls and strikes.

Jose Vidro added two hits for the Mariners, who won twice in the three-game series.

Winner Felix Hernandez (5-5) surrendered an earned run and four hits in eight innings with one walk and eight strikeouts.

Brandon Morrow earned his first save.

Matt Stairs drove in the run with a fourth inning grounder while Joe Inglett had two of the four hits for the Blue Jays, who have split their last four games.
