TORONTO, June 9 (UPI) -- Miguel Cairo's squeeze bunt drove in the winning run in the 10th inning Monday to give the Seattle Mariners a 3-2 win over Toronto.
Raul Ibanez worked a leadoff walk to start the top of the 10th. Following a strikeout by Adrian Beltre, pinch-runner Willie Bloomquist stole second and Jason Frasor (1-1) intentionally walked Jose Lopez before walking Wladimir Balentien to load the bases. Cairo laid down a perfect bunt off Brian Wolfe to score Bloomquist.
Toronto loaded the bases twice, the first time before a double play, but failed to score in the bottom of the 10th.
Seattle starter Jarrod Washburn allowed one run on five hits in six innings. R.A. Dickey (1-1) pitched two scoreless innings to get the win.
Jose Vidro hit a two-run homer for Seattle. Kenji Johjima, Richie Sexson and Jeremy Reed each had two hits.
Alex Rios went 3-for-4 for the Blue Jays, who have lost seven of their last nine games.
