Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

ATLANTA, June 8 (UPI) -- Ryan Howard smacked three doubles and drove in four runs for Philadelphia Sunday, leading the Phillies past Atlanta 6-3 for a sweep of a three-game series.
The Phillies scored three runs in the ninth inning on singles by Eric Bruntlett, Jimmy Rollins and Shane Victorino, a walk and a double to left by Howard.
Victorino finished with three hits and an RBI.
Reliever Chad Durbin (2-1) tossed two scoreless innings and got the win for Philadelphia, which has won 12 of 14 games, including four in a row.
Brad Lidge recorded h is 17th save.
Atlanta's Mark Teixeira belted a two-run homer.
The losing pitcher was Blaine Boyer (1-4), the victim of Philadelphia's ninth-inning rally.
