LOS ANGELES, June 7 (UPI) -- Russell Martin and Matt Kemp both had three RBI Saturday to help the Los Angeles Dodgers rally past the Chicago Cubs 7-3.
Martin's two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning tied the contest 2-2, and his go-ahead RBI single in the seventh gave Los Angeles a 4-3 lead. Kemp's second hit, a three-run homer, capped a five-run seventh.
One seventh-inning run scored on Aramis Ramirez's throwing error while four players had two hits for the Dodgers, who won the first two contests in the three-game series at Dodger Stadium.
Winner Derek Lowe (4-5) yielded three earned runs and six hits in seven innings while, in a non-save situation, closer Takashi Saito struck out the side in the top of the ninth.
Losing pitcher Carlos Zambrano (8-2), Alfonso Soriano and Reed Johnson all had one RBI, with Soriano hitting a solo homer in the sixth.
Six players had one hit apiece for the Cubs, who have split their last four games.
