FOXBOROUGH, Mass., June 6 (UPI) -- Adam Cristman and Steve Ralston scored in the first 22 minutes Friday, giving New England a 2-1 decision over FC Dallas.

The Revolution improved to 7-3-2 and boosted their lead in the Eastern Conference. Dallas has not won in the last three weeks and fell to 3-5-4.

Matt Reis made 10 saves for New England, but lost his shutout bid when Arturo Alvarez scored during second-half stoppage time.

Cristman headed home a cross from Sainey Nyassi in the fifth minute. Ralston scored on a penalty kick after Dallas defender Drew Moor committed a foul in the box on a New England corner kick.
