ORLANDO, Fla., June 5 (UPI) -- The Orlando, Fla., trial of a pro golfer accused of purposefully killing a bird by driving a ball at it has been postponed until August.

The trial of Tripp Isenhour, 39, which was originally set for June, will be presided over by Orange County Judge Deborah Ansbro, the Orlando Sentinel reported Thursday.

The case has led to calls from animal lovers for Isenhour to be suspended from the PGA Tour.
