
NEW YORK, June 4 (UPI) -- Rod Barajas had two doubles and two RBI Tuesday to lead the Toronto Blue Jays to a 9-3 victory over the New York Yankees.
Toronto spoiled the starting debut of New York's Joba Chamberlain. Chamberlain, 22, lasted 2 1/3 innings in the first start of his major league career. He allowed two runs on one hit and four walks.
Chamberlain had given up a run in just four of his 20 relief appearances prior to Tuesday's start.
David Eckstein had three RBI for the Blue Jays, who have won nine of their last 12 games. Alex Rios, Marco Scutaro and Scott Rolen each had a hit and an RBI for the Blue Jays.
Roy Halladay (7-5) got the win after going six innings and giving up two runs on six hits. He's won five of his last six decisions.
