
SEATTLE, June 4 (UPI) -- Maicer Izturis drove in three runs Tuesday, fueling the Los Angeles Angels' 5-4 win over the Seattle Mariners.
The Angels' offense also benefited from Robb Quinlan's 3-for-4 performance, along with RBI hits by Torii Hunter and Howie Kendrick.
Joe Saunders (9-2) allowed four runs -- one earned -- on six hits and one walk over seven innings. He struck out five as Los Angeles won its fourth straight. Francisco Rodriguez worked a scoreless ninth for his majors-leading 23rd save.
Jose Lopez homered for the Mariners, who have lost three straight. Jose Vidro added an RBI.
Seattle starter Erik Bedard (4-4) was knocked out after 3 1/3 innings, giving up five runs, four of which were earned. R.A. Dickey went 5 2/3 innings in relief, surrendering just three hits and striking out six.
